ATTC Aviation Training

One successful assessment became a mission.

The ATTC story began with a self-developed preparation package and the conviction that good preparation makes the difference.

Our story

From applicant to pioneer in aviation assessment preparation

Some company stories begin with a business plan. ATTC began with a personal challenge: after completing his commercial pilot training, Michael Müller applied to Lufthansa CityLine. Before he could take his place in the cockpit, he had to pass the demanding DLR assessment in Hamburg. Determined to leave nothing to chance, he developed his own preparation package, largely paper-based at the time. He worked out the logic of the assessment, practised systematically and passed with ease.

What began as personal preparation met a much wider need. Demand for the training package grew so quickly that an individual project soon became a business vision. Michael Müller chose to establish ATTC rather than pursue a cockpit career at Lufthansa CityLine, dedicating himself to helping other applicants find their way into aviation.

Three branches soon opened in Germany: Munich, Frankfurt and Hamburg. Vienna followed, and later a branch at London Stansted Airport. Demand also extended beyond Europe, with regular preparation courses in the Middle East, particularly Dubai. A self-developed, paper-based training package had become an internationally sought-after method.

ATTC developed into a leading provider of assessment preparation for aviation careers. For more than three decades, the company has guided pilots and air traffic controllers through demanding selection procedures with experience, passion and a commitment to turning uncertainty into understanding and preparation into a real opportunity to succeed.

His passion for educating the next generation of pilots led Michael Müller to take another important step: a few years ago, he and his wife Scarlett founded DVFS – Deutsche Verkehrsflugschule. This initiative also grew rapidly. Within a short time, DVFS became one of Europe’s largest flight schools for aspiring commercial pilots, demonstrating how experience, vision and personal commitment can make a lasting contribution to aviation.
